I’ve been in the #coldcall game now for 5 years as a chosen career. It feels good, but the landscape has changed. Everyone is in on it. SDRs are everywhere; its trendy, the best practice conversations are alive. I love it.
However, when I see it all, I also see some of the smoke and mirrors. We are all experts suddenly, we are all “outbound sales leaders”.
Albeit cool, what is sales development truth? What really works for each industry? What are the real vocab words? Who decides the definitions? It’s hard to participate because it seems a bit anarchist.
